Vegetables are such a versatile way to aid weight loss and boost health, just make sure your plate is at least half filled by them (including salads, etc).

You are right of course that washing vegetables is a good idea, and fruit too, you can actually remove 25% of the toxins just by doing this.

In some cases though, the highest quality vegetables available are frozen as they are frozen so soon after picking that they retain their nutrients better than fresh varieties.  Tinned vegetables are high in salt, and even organic produce can contain toxins - organic isn&#039;t a guarantee against all toxins.
