You should use a two prong strategy to losing weight fast before summer arrives. Melt the pounds away by making some small changes in your diet and your exercise routine.

Diet

You will lose the most pounds just by making a few simple changes to your diet. The first is to make sure that you do not skip breakfast. If you skip breakfast, your body will shut down because it realizes that it is not getting food. Eating breakfast will kick start your body and it will immediately go to work burning off the calories.

Another change is to reduce the amount of sugar, starch and fried food that you eat on a daily basis. These types of food have a tendency to add pounds and our bodies have a difficult time in getting rid of them.

Exercise

One of the best ways to lose weight is to improve your metabolism rate. Your metabolism rate determines how quickly your body will burn off weight. Exercise is a great way to increase your metabolism rate.

If you have led a sedentary life, you can start slowly. When parking at work, grocery store or mall, park as far from the entrance as you possibly can. This will force you to walk. Use the stairs instead of the elevator.

You should strive to do at least 30 minutes of exercise every day of the week. This can be a short walk in the neighborhood in the evening or during your lunch break.

If at all possible, exercise should be the first thing you do in the morning. Exercising in the morning gets your metabolism started for the day and you have the rest of the day for it to do its magic in burning off the pounds.

  2. i just started a new diet system but i lack of focus and exercising is another story. i try my best to do my workouts in the morning. tbh, i fail sometimes even most of the times. but thanks for the courage i really need it.
